Forward and Aft Staterooms sleeps 6. The boat has a beautiful all teak interior and cabinetry throughout.  The ENTIRE yacht’s teak interior woodwork was completely stripped, sanded & hand finished in 2006.  All carpets were new in 2007.  Luxurious deep shag carpets in all 3 staterooms.  Shorter shag carpet in the Salon.  Forward stairs were redone in 2008 with non-skid added and grab bar overhead. Hunter Douglas custom bifold blinds cover salon side windows.  Aft Deck Salon glass and Salon port & starboard glass are deep, dark tinted for complete privacy.  The windows offer great lighting, beautiful 270-degree views and the wide beam of the boat gives you and your guests a feeling of comfort and openness.

The Main Deck Salon is quite spacious and well laid out with an Icemaker, full entertainment center, custom cabinetry including slide out for a full-size tower PC and a slide out for a compact printer.  Broadband Internet is there and the yacht’s high speed WiFi router covers the whole boat very well from the entertainment center.  The faux leather 6” trim around the ceiling on 3 sides of the Salon was new and emulated 2005 Viking Motor Yachts.

Just inside the aft entrance into the Salon is a solid teak wet bar.  There is liquor storage and a sink and under-sink cabinet.  The under-sink cabinet has built in bottle holders to keep bottles in place.  Adjacent to the under-sink cabinet is an icemaker which produces lots of ice.  The icemaker was new around 2011.

The salon has a 48” Samsung 1080P, HD “Smart” TV. Samsung TV was new in 2015 and has a phenomenal picture.  The Samsung TV is mounted on a custom base which also has an integrated center channel cradle which aims the center channel directly at the 2 Stressless leather recliners at ‘head level’ for optimum center channel audio.   Both Stressless leather recliners are in navy leather and are extremely ergonomic.  Both have the optional swing arm with rotating table attached for laptop, book etc… Both have matching foot stools.  Both Stressless recliners have washable, detachable headrest covers.  If you are not familiar with this iconic Scandinavian brand of recliner, please see their website.

A Denon 4311CI with 2 zones processes DirecTV video & sends via HDMI to the Samsung TV.  The 10” Velodyne top of the line subwoofer provides big, full, rich base.  3 M&K (Miller & Kreisel)  MK7 front/1 MK7 center channel speakers, complemented by 2 rear MK5 speakers make for absolutely the best surround sound possible. When seated in the recliner in the salon you may feel that you are experiencing the best surround sound experience you have ever had.   If you are not familiar with M&K speakers, please refer to their website ( for a list of the top recording studios around the world who use precisely this speaker.  Zone 1 is strictly limited to the main deck salon.  The Denon boasts over 700 watts of power and will supply more power than you will ever need.  Zone 2’s source is controlled by the Denon so you can watch a movie or news in the salon while listening to some other source such as XM, Pandora, Spotify etc… on the Flybridge or any of the staterooms.  There is a push button distribution panel next to the Denon which can turn the audio on or off to each of the 3 staterooms, to the galley, to the aft deck and the flybridge.  The HD TV signal is sent from the Salon to the Galley TV wirelessly. The Galley TV is approximately 24” and fits beautifully opposite the dinette and above the starboard counter.

The Salon has a DirecTV DVR but you would likely need to supply your own DirecTV equipment. The DirecTV dish is mounted outside on a piling and not onboard.  You would need your own DirecTV account.  There is also a DirecTV receiver (not a DVR) in the Master Stateroom.

Master Stateroom

Full beam stateroom is aft and is well laid out.  Master has dedicated A/C – heat & controls.   The Master Stateroom has everything – king bed with custom mattress & cool, double, luxurious High-Density memory foam top.  King bed has all custom cover, sheets, spare sheets, 2 sizes of throw pillows and bolster.  Custom fit Egyptian cotton sheets with 1200 thread count feel great to the touch.  Full mirror at the head of the bed, from the top of the bed to ceiling with soft overhead lights.  Soft under-bed lighting.  Two nightstands, loads of stowage on both sides of bed including 3 huge drawers, many smaller drawers & cabinets below the drawers on either outboard side of bed.  2 hanging lockers (closets) 1 double deep & 1 double door; both single & double door hanging locker doors are full length mirrored. The entire master stateroom is gorgeous teak woodwork throughout. Portholes on starboard and port sides allow cool evening breezes in. The Master Head has a tub with a shower, SeaLand VacuFlush toilet with a specially sealing seat for extra quiet flushes, nice 3 shelved ‘medicine cabinet, under counter 2 door cabinet allows ample stowage for many towels, washcloths etc…. and under sink 2 door cabinet for lots of cleaning supplies, tp etc… Master bath also has an exhaust fan, full large mirror (appx 48” X 54”) over sink and counter.  Both AC & DC lighting.  DC is desirable if you are at anchor and do not want to run the generator.  You can run many AC items with an inverter.  There is DC lighting in virtually every area of the yacht so no need always for Generator power at anchor.

Master has a DirecTV receiver with a 24” HD TV above the drawers opposite the foot of the bed making for great viewing while in bed.  The Master also has a separate volume control for audio from Zone 2 of the Denon Audio/Video receiver located in the Salon.  The overhead Kenwood speakers are for the Denon sourced audio.  The Master also includes DVD player which is located on the shelf below the DirecTV receiver & TV.  You will likely need your own DirecTV or Dish Network equipment since I do not believe that it is transferrable.

VIP Stateroom

The VIP is really luxurious.  His & hers hanging stowage(closets) There is lots of stowage in the VIP.  An HD TV sits atop the drawers opposite the foot of the bed.  There are 2 massive drawers which easily glide out from under the foot of the bed.  Great for beach towel storage or other large items.  There is also stowage under the bed itself for seldom used items.  Nightstands on either side of the Queen have storage inside.  The custom spread & pillows add an elegant finish to the room’s luxurious extra-long shag carpet with a supple pad underneath.  The VIP temperature is controlled with its dedicated CruiseAir SMXII control.  A new A/C fan & motor were installed in 2015.  The VIP has its own stereo speakers sourced (like the other staterooms, galley, bridge, and aft deck) by the Denon (Zone 2) located in the Salon. The VIP ensuite head has a SeaLand VacuFlush toilet, the mirror over the sink and the entire wall over the counter.  The mirror is located on the front of a spacious 2 door medicine cabinet.  There is a good amount of storage below the sink & counter also.  There is a porthole in the head and also one over the queen berth in the VIP for breezes when in port or at anchor.

Forward Stateroom

The Forward Berths are up & down. This stateroom, like the others, is nearly all high sheen teak.  As the name suggests, the berths are in the bow of the boat so there is not a lot of floor space in the Forward SR.  The V-Berth shares the head with day guests.  There is a door for day use which can be locked making the day head accessible only from the V-Berth.  Another ingenious Viking feature!  Flooring is a beautiful lengthy shag carpet used in the VIP & the Master Stateroom.  The Forward SR has 2 single berths and shares a spacious dresser and large hanging locker which I converted to a wine storage.  The wine storage shelves are held in place with easily removable pins and shelves can easily and quickly be removed in less than 2 minutes by anyone and without any tools. The dresser has a number of drawers.  There are also 2 nicely sized drawers under the lower berth.  As with the other 2 staterooms, the audio is controlled by a slider in the V-Berth but sourced from the Denon (Zone 2) located in the Salon.  The A/C in the Forward Stateroom is temperature controlled by the SMXII thermostatic control in the VIP, but the fan speed is controlled in the Forward Stateroom.  The Forward Stateroom has a small HD TV.  There are 2 portholes – one on port & one on starboard for cool evening breezes when in port or at anchor.  As in the entire rest of the yacht, all the teak was taken down to bare wood and hand finished to a high sheen with many coats of poly urethane.  The Forward SR or V-Berth is all teak with the exception of the ceiling.

Marine Heads and Laundry

There are three full-size heads. The Master Head with a tub & shower stall is ensuite in the aft Master Stateroom.  The forward Guest Head has dual access to serve as a day head for guests or as a Forward Stateroom Head with a shower stall.  All 3 heads have SeaLand VacuFlush toilets.  All plumbing, parts, toilets for all 3 heads was installed new in 2007, including an additional blackwater tank exclusively for the 2 forward heads.

At the base of the aft stairs is the laundry compartment with a full size stacked washer and dryer units.  Both are front loading and were new in 2007. There is lots of stowage for laundry supplies across from the washer & dryer for laundry items, cleaning items etc

The Flybridge is accessed from the Aft Deck by spiral steps.  There are three helm chairs, a wide “L-shaped” bench seat around the dinette for 4 adults.  The total forward seating capacity on the Flybridge is for 7 adults.  There is a spacious open area at the aft half of the Flybridge which is ideal for spreading towels for “laying out”, for additional deck chairs or just socializing.  Forward of this open area is a large traditional “dock box” in which spare dock lines, grill tools, water hoses for washing the yacht, brushes, soap, chamois etc…  The dock box makes great seating for an aft view from the Flybridge.  Upon accessing the FB there is a Stainless Steel railing for about 7 ft.  Atop the forward end of the railing is a Magma Stainless Steel Grill.  Directly under the grill is a 20lb propane tank secured with bungee cords.  A single tank will last for dozens & dozens of meals cooked on the grill.  The grill has a custom black Sunbrella cover to match the black Sunbrella Bimini top forward and aft of the radar arch.  The XM Radio antenna, Radar & UHF antenna are all mounted atop the radar arch, as well as a navigational “At Anchor” light.  There is a full JL Marine Audio system on the FB.  The JL Audio Marine Amplifier powers 2 sets of “Separates” JL Marine speakers and the JL “Infinity” in wall subwoofer.  Sony Marine AM/FM/CD/AUX Radio with dash mounted waterproof remote controls the FB system.    The JL Amp is powered by its own 12V Battery with a dedicated battery charger.

There is huge storage capacity under the upper helm.  There are twin doors on either end with AC lighting inside and a conventional light switch at either end, just inboard of the helm cabinet doors.  I store fishing rods and tackle, a couple dozen life preservers and other miscellaneous items inside.

Fore and Aft Decks

The foredeck has rails around (like the aft deck) it which start behind the galley doors just in front of the Salon.  These Bow Rails are of the highest grade marine stainless and still sparkle today.  The Foredeck has a large seating area which will easily accommodate 4 side by side.  This seating area is several feet deep and has ample marine vinyl cushions on it with a triangular/sloped cushion at the aft end of the seating for back support.  Very comfortable and a great place to “lay out” or take a nap.  Watching falling stars in utter darkness (which can be found by dropping the anchor most anyplace away from the light pollution of the city) and seeing the billions of stars that you have missed all your life is my favorite pastime on the foredeck seating.

The Aft Deck is a comfortable place to carry on a conversation, have an evening glass of wine or just watch passersby.   Much of the Aft Deck is in the shade most of the day.  A custom cut white StarBoard cover for the Flybridge access provides still more shade.  The largest of coolers will fit in the Aft Deck.  There are 4 drains – 2 along the deck forward and 2 three inch drains aft.  The Aft Deck is covered with Non-Skid just the same as the Flybridge.  I have kept 2 deck chairs and a large cooler which doubles as a footstool there for years.
