Belle Bete, a Beneteau 523 offers a very spacious and comfortable layout that is easily managed. She is equipped with three main cabins; an owner’s suite and two guest cabins, as well as a fourth cabin with head forward for crew.
The two guest cabins each have en-suite heads with showers. The berths are large to easily accommodate two adults. There is ample storage, hanging lockers, custom lighting, air conditioning, and operative ports for ventilation and fresh air.
The main salon is very spacious featuring a forward facing nav station to starboard, Forward of the nav station is the galley offering tremendous refrigerator and separate freezer space, excellent counter space and storage, a dishwasher, stainless steel double sink with covers, a propane fired four burner stove and oven. Across from the galley is a u shaped dining area with an expandable table for 8. Under the bench seating is a large storage area. Bookshelves, cabinets, a newer flat screen TV, and a large hanging locker complete the area.
Forward is the owner’s stateroom with a very large semi-walk around berth with custom mattress, and lighting. The room has a lovely built in vanity table with make-up mirror as well as a full length mirror in the hanging locker. There is a nice seating area, built in shelving, lots of storage and stowage. The head offers a separate roomy shower, beautiful glass counters, newer mirrors with a large medicine cabinet behind, and electric flush head.
All the way forward is the crew quarters featuring a large V berth and its own separate head with shower. It is accessed from the foredeck hatch.
The entire space below decks is finished with beautiful wood, custom lighting, sound system, screens, curtains, hardwood floors and custom features galore.
The Cockpit is the “open air living area” with a newer bimini, and dodger, (wheel and table cover too) that offers shade, while relaxing on the comfortable and stylish cushions (2018) throughout. A newly refinished folding cockpit table opens for dining alfresco. The transom makes for easy entry for all ages and stowage of the 12’ Saturn dinghy on davits. There is a transom shower, propane grill, tons of deep storage. The boat has safety equipment as well as a life raft, Dan boy, fenders, lines, and misc. equipment.
